Rain

On this bright day

When the sun is shining with its might

and for it to rain the chances are tight.

Suddenly the wind blows

and the clouds start rolling in

Covering the sun

and leaving the world dim without light

The thunder booms

The lightening flashes

and in no minutes

a soft padding of rain is heard

but this time the thunder rumble with anger

and the lightning strikes

bringing more and nore raindrops to the earth

People run into their houses

while the children play

for school is canceled

Be thankful to this rainy day.

Slowly the noise decreases

and so do the droplets of rain

Finally the rain stops

but the clouds still surround

It turns into a gloomy day

with soft clouds of mist

rolling into people's windows

but they're far too lazy to notice

The long pretty rainbow.
